Unbelievably nice double mounted image of a medieval cargo or passenger ship. The condition of the print and frame is really good and the image is so amazing. If you like pirate ships, tall ships, anchors, rope or anything else nautical this thing needs to take the central point of focus at your place! Amazing.

I know a few people that will jump with excitement over these vintage cat books. If you’re a cat person these would be a great addition to your living space. 3 in total, each from a different publisher and writers, all illustrated beautifully and full of character.
1. Cats – by Brian Vesey-Fitzgerald (Penguin Handbooks) – some pages are damaged including the published date page, assuming date to be approx. 1970. 264pages.
2. Sherley’s Famous Cat Book – Published by The Sherley Division of Ash Laboratories. 1974. Full of great advertising and imagery of the time. 165 pages.
3. Cats Cats Cats Cats by John Gilbert – Published by Paul Hamlyn London. Everything to do with cats and a heap of great imagery. 152 pages.

Vintage Boxwood style timber and brass folding ruler. Measuring in inches only, with 36” it’s maximum, this piece would look great leaning up against the wall from your desk, off a shelf or standing in a stationary hold. Super nice, heaps of character, tough to find!

Size is 36 inches or 91.5cm in length.

This is a large painted timber duck. I’m not sure why, but we seam to find duck things regularly. Luckily we like them. This one is made in the Philippines, is hand-painted and most likely hand shaped. Ducks live pretty tranquil lives, kind of enviable really.

Size is 32cm in length and 13cm wide, the top of it’s head is about 12cm off the water level if it was actually swimming.

We can’t work out if this is a capsicum filled with upside down flowers and strawberries or an upside down capsicum with flowers and strawberries inside of it. Either way, it’s a great little hot kettle or pot stand for the kitchen bench made from heavy metal. Interesting and nice to look at! None of your friends will have one that’s for sure!

Size is 19cm x 15cm.

Very cool and unique esky with a classic 60’s / 70’s patterned yardage all over it. This piece is in excellent condition with the expected knocks here and there. Plastic lining opposed to the slightly earlier metal versions. So so cool, especially when filled with ice and beverages!

Size is 41cm in length x 33cm in height and 27cm across. Pick up only.

Absolutely jaw-droppingly amazing Triumph Brand suitcase sold by Anthony Hordern & Sons of Sydney. This case is truly beautiful, the closures are in excellent condition, the cow-hide leather is all held beautifully together by heavyweight stitching and the textile lining is in great shape too. It’s not been used much and would look great in any space. There is a lot of history tied up in this piece, click on the link and have a read about Anthony Hordern’s to tell of where this would have been purchased, amazing!

Beautifully worn and weathered A.W. Gamage of London Trunk. This trunk with its corrugated engineering and timber reinforcements on the underside came to Australia in 1909 and has sat under a house ever since. We considered cleaning the outside but it really does tell a story of its age and character so it has remained untouched. This would be the perfect toy or bedding storage piece in any space, a really beautiful piece.

Size is 83cm in length x 53cm in width x 33cm in height. Pick up only.
